Meet the Leadership Team

Sharon Zonnefeld joined Moline Christian school in August of 2019. She holds both a B.A. and M.Ed. from Dordt University. Before joining the MCS team as a classroom teacher, she gained extensive experience in education, serving as a classroom teacher, K-3 Art Teacher, Curriculum Director, Gifted Learning Facilitator, and Instructional Coach in both California and Iowa.

Sharon currently serves on the MCS Leadership Team as the Director of Teaching and Learning, where she is dedicated to supporting teachers and enhancing student learning.

She and her husband, Darren, are proud parents of two adult daughters. They reside in Wyoming and are actively involved in Encounter Church in Kentwood, where they worship and serve.
