Meet the Leadership Team

Daniel Russell began his service as Head of Moline Christian School in June 2024. Originally from New Jersey, Daniel graduated from Berry College with a BA in Early Childhood Education. He also holds a Masters of Sports Administration from Ohio University and a Masters of Educational and Academic Leadership from Dordt University.

Daniel has 12+ years of Christian Education experience serving as a teacher (1st & 6th grade), high school and college coaching, athletic director, and head of school. Prior to MCS, he served as Athletic Director and Senior Leadership Team member at Chattanooga Christian School in Tennessee. Daniel currently serves as Head of School and on the Leadership Team at Moline Christian School.

Daniel and his wife, Meredith, have 3 children: Briggs, Ellie, and Levi. The Russells live in Byron Center and attend Friendship Church CRC.
